Peter 1:24
Peter 1:24 is one of the earlier installation works. The work consists of 201 individually crafted flowers from pages of the Bible. From the bottom of the pillar to the top, the flowers flow in order that they are seen in the Bible. This piece touches upon the elements of Christianity, specifically focusing on the importance of flowers within the religion. The site-specific artwork was finished with consideration to the historical architecture of the church, with the bottom of the church pillar being filled with the origami flowers and growing up the pillar like ivy, this made the artwork a decorative success but with depth and context.

This piece transformed from Church to gallery when asked to display the work in The Surface Gallery. This exhibition was in partnership with The University of Lincoln. The piece was presented differently to St Mary Le Wigford, and was presented on the wall to ensure to site-specificity was kept for the church.
